Clutch bag- repurposed with silk
designed and made in the Scotland by Julia Cunningham

A beautiful unique funky clutch bag in this quite amazing silk patchwork fabric with applique. This fabric was once a Caroline Charles jacket and has been repurposed into a clutch bag. This is one of two bags made from the jacket so really is special.

This bag has a large flap that has been cut on the bias . This flap tucks in to a front panel that has been made in red and orange upcycled silk and has a raw selvedge detail from the lining. It lined in a funky turquoise fabric which has a lot of bright splashes of colour woven through it. This fabric was reclaimed from a Mill that was closing down in Galashiels many years ago. This fabric is no longer produced.

The bag also has a red zipped internal pocket for valuables.

The bag is large and flat so there is plenty room to carry important documents etc.
